One of the frequent challenges people face when working with Agile is unavailability from the Product Owner to attend Agile rituals and key meetings. So what can you do to mitigate this or what have you done to address this challenge in your projects? Feel free to share with the group your thoughts on this matter.
Here are some ideas:
-Have someone attend the meeting on behalf of the Product Owner. So someone who can represent him or her and make decisions.
-Agree with the Product Owner on a frequency of meetings/participation of Agile rituals. Even if it’s not as often as you’d like having a formal agreement might help ensure he’s there on key dates.
-Assign an Agile Team member the role of representing the Product Owner. BAs would be great for this assignment if you have one on your project.
